  1. hi holger and silke, its kathy and peter from guerrero negro! how did it go from there with the hurricane? We ended up staying there for three days trying to wait out the storm but decide to go back north and went to bahia de LA instead. They where hit buy the hurricane and flash flood too but we still able to ride through the washed out roads and have a nice time. I dont suppose there is a way to convert your site into english so we can read it! take care kathy and peter from canada

    • Kathy, Peter, glad to hear from you. We were wondering what happened to you during these Hurricane days.. Glad to hear that you are well, though these three days in Guerrero Negro must have been as annoying as our three days in Vizcaino. Well, we left the morning after we met and went towards Vizcaino. After about 60 Kilometers we were picked up by a pickup truck , whose passengers were very excited in telling us that the Cyclone would be JUST ahead. It wasn’t that bad at that time, just a lot of clouds and slight rain. They brought us to Vizcaino, where we checked in to a Hotel…. and stayed for three days roads were closed, as you well know. It was boring… No electricity, no Internet, sometimes no water. After that we where able to continue, but all in all it
was no fun ride. So much damage in San Ignacio, Mulege, Santa Rosalia. Daily life was standing still, everybody was just fixing and cleaning up things. Loreto was fine. Roads weren’t bad, though. Anyway, things were improving and we are now in Ciudad Constitution. We expect to be in La Paz in two days. With the next update we’ll add a brief English section to the blog, so you would be able to read it. Our Jägermeister picture will be on it.
